The Watcher

They say you are gone
but I know the truth
as you watch from afar
keeping me safe
I wish you were here
standing next by my side
I know that you cannot be
so I go on with my day
while looking up and
saying a prayer
you make all the bad
things better and all
the good things great
you are my watcher
my bringer of faith
